Im super excited for this house because it is exactly that, a house. We've always lived in apartments and townhomes, and it was really important to us at this point in our lives to have a real house. The kids need their own yard to play in, and i want my own walls, not shared noises. We found a house to rent that fits all our expectations in Columbia, the capitol and heart of SC. It has white siding, a huge front yard and fenced back yard (all our own!! yay!), 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a wood burning fireplace,a backyard deck, and is in a quiet cul-de-sac to name a few things....ahhhhh. I am so excited to decorate this baby! This home will be the longest place we'll live in for one time at this point, so its sure to feel more like home than anywhere.

yea for an actual HOUSE!! i want one. this is an exciting step for your family. i can't wait to see the house from the inside (assuming you'll post pictures when you move in). ; )
also, happy anniversary! how fun to have a little getaway, just the two of you. i keep telling brad we need to have an annual trip like that, but i don't know if he sees the importance like i do. money issues always get in the way. sounds like you had a great time though. congrats on 5years!!
