who do you love?

We spend so much time looking
for the right person to love
or finding fault with those
we already love
when instead,
we should be perfecting
the love we give to others.
This is the only way
we can ever be satisfied
with anyone or anything
for in loving,
we find love itself
and see with our hearts, not just
our eyes.
Be aware of each day,
each experience,
to meet a challenge eagerly,
and grasp each moment
with a sense of newness, discover,
this is what loving is really all about.
